EU ETS Carbon Credits Trading Course for the aviation sector
This interactive practical training course provides a comprehensive overview of the
basics of trading strategies and trading of carbon credits in the EU ETS.
This web course has been developed for financial managers, fuel and sustainability managers in the aviation sector.
The course will take approximate 12 working hours to complete including 6 hours of web based classes. During the course a live instructor will lead the class but there is no absolute need to be online at the same time as your instructor. Questions and answers take place during the live sessions and are posted in the discussion forum. The online courses will be recorded and will be available to you for 2 months. This approach allows you to take the course according to your personal schedule, without travelling and as your personal schedule permits.

Jos Cozijnsen worked from 1993 to 1997 for the Netherlands' Environment Ministry on the development of climate change policies and as a member of the Dutch delegation to the international climate meetings including Kyoto. He is a leading advisor in the field of emissions trading and projects, advising large companies, public authorities and NGO’s on several national and international aspects and projects related to emissions trading.
Sander de Moor is an expert in fuel efficiency project management and flight operational support in the aviation sector. Sander has been active in flight operational support for almost 25 years, covering energy efficiency management, flight planning, flight dispatch, payload control, operational & network control and ground operations/station management. Presently managing a fuel efficiency campaign with a member airline of the Star Alliance, he spent 2 years traveling the globe as part of the IATA Green Teams, performing Fuel Efficiency Gap Analyses and implementation projects at over 20 airlines.
Erik van Agtmaal is an expert in methodologies for the calculation and reporting
of greenhouse gas and other emissions from transport and logistics sources, the implementation
of energy management systems consistent with EN 16001 and ISO 50001 standards and
in the EU ETS for the aviation sector with a specific focus on the financial and
trading aspects and the design of company specific optimal trading strategies.
