QUANTIFY, an Integrated Project
coordinated by the DLR-Institute of Atmospheric Physics, was started in
March 2005 with a large kick-off event in Landshut. It deals with the
climate impact of transport and is funded until 2010 by the European
Commission within the 6th research framework programme. QUANTIFY also
includes the DLR Institute of Transport Research (Berlin) and the
Research Flight Facility Oberpfaffenhofen. In total, 35 participants and
4 associated members from 16 European countries and the U.S.A. are

The 2007 update of the third edition of
the emission inventory guidebook prepared by the UNECE/EMEP Task Force
on Emissions Inventories and Projections provides a comprehensive guide

intention is to support reporting under the UNECE Convention on
Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution and the EU National Emission
